Offers no-cost [FREE] assistance for youth ages 16-24:

·        Work Search: employment counselors/developers assist you including resume writing, job interview skills, job search, networking, connecting with employers and keeping a job.

·        Preparation for Education, whether you are researching schools, upgrading or looking into secondary [highschool] or post-secondary education [college, university, trades training].

·        Career Coaching: career planning workshops; work exploration activities such as job shadowing and information interviews.

·        Mobile Unit a fully outfitted van with high-speed Internet, email, printers, and copying, phone and fax machine that provides Youth Connections services to schools and other organizations.    

·        Exposure Courses: Workplace Health and Safety, First Aid and WHMIS certification.

    Youth Connections no longer exists. The funding was cut to it years ago.
