Addiction Services – Adult Residential

Alberta Health Services offers Residential treatment programs, ranging from 20 to 42 days, for adult Albertans seeking help for addictions. The programs are free for those who cannot afford them: speak to AHS staff about how to get funded.

Residential Treatment Programs are operated by Alberta Health Services and agencies funded by Alberta Health Services.

•cocaine program (Business and Industry Clinic)
•gambling specific (Henwood Treatment Centre and Northern Addiction Centre)
•tobacco cessation
•interactive workshops
•information sessions
•recreation and leisure programming
•self-help groups
•relapse prevention
•discharge planning

Please contact programs directly for specific information about their program, including length of stay, program options and admission requirements. These are Adult services but some exceptions may apply. Please call for more information
